Walkies Store is run by SwiftLab Ltd. This page explains what we collect when you shop at walkies.store. Our main privacy policy for the Walkies app is at personalwalkies.com/privacy-policy.
What we collect
When you check out, you give us your email address, name, delivery address and phone number, and your payment details. We use these only to take payment, work out delivery and import charges, deliver your order, send you receipts and updates about it, and handle returns.
Your card details are entered into secure fields provided by our payment provider, Stripe, and go straight to them. We never see or store your full card number.
Your bag and preferences
Your bag, your delivery country and the delivery speed you last chose are saved in your own browser so they’re still there when you come back. They’re never sent to us until you check out. We use your approximate country, worked out from your internet connection, to show you delivery information that applies to you. We don’t store it, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process your payment and prevent fraud.
- Easyship, our shipping platform. When you enter your address at checkout, we send it with the items in your order to get delivery prices. When you’ve paid, we send your name, address, email address and phone number to create your shipment.
- The delivery company carrying your parcel, so they can deliver it and send you tracking updates.
- Customs authorities, for orders outside the UK, who receive a description and the value of the items.
- Cloudflare, who host this website.
Some of these companies process information outside the UK. When they do, they protect it with safeguards the UK recognises, such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing support@personalwalkies.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
